### How to stake TRX

**TRX Staking** - is the process of freezing assets to maintain the TRON network. By freezing your TRX you receive resources that can be used to pay for transactions. If you already have TRX staked, see the instructions on how to [delegate resources](#kak-delegirovat-resursy).

In the explorer **tronscan** you can find [a resource calculator](https://tronscan.org/#/tools/tronstation), where you can calculate the amount of Energy or Bandwidth. For example, if you stake **10,000 TRX**, you will receive **94,678.13 units of Energy.**

The obtained Energy can be used in the following ways:

1. Spend on your own USDT transactions or calls to smart contracts
2. Delegate to another address so they can use your Energy

**Step-by-step instructions on how to start staking TRX in the TronLink wallet:**

#### Step 1: Download and install the TronLink wallet

1. You can download the app from the official website <https://www.tronlink.org/>
2. Create a new wallet or import a seed phrase
3. Activate the wallet if required (to activate, simply send 1 TRX to the address)

#### Step 2: Staking TRX in the TronLink wallet (iOS)

1. In the **Assets** menu of the wallet tap **Energy**
2. Go to **Get Energy**
3. Enter the amount of TRX to be staked (in the example this is **500 TRX**). The preliminary calculation shows that for this amount of TRX the address will receive **4,732 Energy** per day and **500 TRON Power** (Votes that [can be delegated to an SR](https://feesaver.gitbook.io/docs/feesaver-staking/vote-sr) and additionally earn 3 to 3.5% APY)
4. Press the **Stake**

5. &#x20;Sign the transaction (enter your password)

6. After signing the transaction it is recommended to vote for super representatives (see [detailed instructions](https://feesaver.gitbook.io/docs/feesaver-staking/vote-sr))
